This is an easy hiking trail that is accessible right from the residential streets of Crested Butte. These trails are relatively flat, but the lack of trees allows them to provide incredible views of the surrounding mountain peaks and the nearby Slate River. This is very popular with locals and tourists alike.
You can connect to this trail directly from Crested Butte Via Butte Avenue and <br /><br />Peanut Lake Road. On the other end, you can park just off the bottom of the <br /><br />Gunsight Pass Road which splits off of the Slate River Road.
